A skilled cowboy of the wild west was courageous, alert and able to endure many unforeseen circumstances that would arise when out on the range. Whether rounding up cattle or protecting the homesteaders from ruffians, the cowboy’s work was never done. His spurs were among his most prized possessions because they allowed him to guide his faithful horse with a commanding presence. 

His days were spent almost entirely on the saddle, but at night the cowboy made his bed on the lap of mother earth. If fortune was in his favor, he could warm his weary hands over a campfire and enjoy a hot meal before laying down to sleep. The cowboy’s favorite meal was, of course, a big, juicy steak dinner. So, perhaps his knife was also one of his most precious assets as it would be useful for cutting the meat. 

It is in honor of the great American Cowboy that we named our Spurs Damascus Steel Steak Knives. These stunning knives are forged from 73  layers of solid Damascus VG-10 steel. The high carbon content of the steel core makes these knives hard to bend, strong and very sharp for cutting through large pieces of meat. They’re also easy to sharpen when needed. Each knife in this set of 4 has a 5” long full-tang blade as the centerpiece of their construction. A full-tang blade means superior durability and balance. These impressive steak knives are adorned with a long, ultra-premium Olive wood handle.
